All text, images and attachments entered after 1 May 2016 should comply with the guidelines in this document.
After the update process during May to June, it is expected that all content on the website will comply with the guidelines in this document.
Each Division has at least one Web Focal Point assigned to maintain and update content on the website that originates from the Sections and Division. Web Focal Points hold a key job, but they are not the only ones responsible for website content. All staff members have a role in protecting one of ESCWA's greatest assets.
If staff sees content that is not in line with the guidelines, they should tell the Web Focal Points of the respective Division so they can either correct it or send a notice to the Content Owner/Approver.
If corrections are not made within 10 days, the staff member who noticed the issue should report it to the Knowledge Management Committee.
In turn, the Secretary of the Knowledge Management Committee will communicate with the relevent Division's Content Approver and request that they resolve the issue within 10 business days (now, the division would have 20 days total to fix the issue).
The Knowledge Management Committee will take note of every issue reported and how it was addressed.
On a quarterly basis, the Knowledge Management Committee will report to the Deputy Executive Secretary on all issues they receive (corrected and not corrected).
